Not looking forward to today. I'm teaching 4 spells, and I've got my very stroppy year 10s to look forward to. Strange how the classes vary. I teach 2 year 10 classes, one of them is the most pleasant group of young people you could imagine, the other is made up of about 8 kids who want to learn, about 4 or 5 who really have no idea which planet they're on, and the remainder are the biggest bunch of multiply disruptive, scum-sucking bottom feeders you would never wish to meet.
Such are the joys of teaching.
And I've got to take my car into the garage to get the steering fixed, and set up the reports for the whole school to get printed tomorrow morning.
At least it's stopped raining.

ReplyDeleteLeast you haven't got 5 spells, Richard of RBB does. Sometimes I can hear his voice, through his gaint speaker, vibrating around my room. It is very effective apparently. He has two year tens but I think they both contain scum-sucking bottom feeders.
ReplyDeleteI don't have year 10s this year. Two year 9 classes - this year...
I wonder what The Basket Guy said in his original comment?
ReplyDeleteI bet it was an unthoughtthrough (I made that word up) over the top response.
Anyway, I'm just home now after surviving 5 periods. I have a practice tonight as well. Still, I don't have to worry about the report print run! Good luck, Twisty.
Is this some kind of blog for picking on Year 10s?
ReplyDeleteand this is bad because.....?
