Female Locomotion

Wonderful

I like women.

Ever since I was a little boy I admired the female form.

My first girlfriend was a classmate at Hillhead Primary School in Glasgow; Elspeth Scott.  She was 7 years old, and so was I.

We used to meet at the fence dividing the girl's playground from the boy's.
I cannot remember now what we talked about, bit I do remember looking forward to our little meetings.  Unfortunately, our relationship came to a nasty end.

About 10 minutes before the end of lunchtime, I promised to meet her again before we went into class.

Then some other boys suggested a game of football, and I ran off to play, completely forgetting about my promise.

15 minutes into the class after lunch, Elspeth turned up at the door, dripping from head to foot.  It had begun to rain very heavily as lunch finished, and little Elspeth had endured the driving rain and waited for me, getting soaked.

She had told our teacher about my promise, and Mrs. Clark (our Primary 2 teacher) had ushered her off to her desk and glared at me.  So did every other girl in the class.  No other girl in that class ever wanted to be my friend, then or in the future.

I still feel a little guilty, even after 50 years, for what I did to that poor wee girl, but what can I say?  Boys and sports.  'Nuff said.

I still liked girls though.

Even after many girlfriends (pre-marriage I must emphasise) and 35 years of a happy marriage, I still like looking at women.  Not (I hope) in any type of perverted manner.  I don't "strip" them with my eyes or fantasise in any way, I just like to look. (not, I must really emphasise, at any pupils. Ever.)

I was standing in the staffroom door with another male colleague as one of our younger female teachers was walking to her car.  The male colleague and I were discussing some curriculum point or other, but as she walked away from us, we both fell silent.  And just looked.

Women just walk in an amazingly attractive way. She was just walking to her car, she was just putting one foot in front of another, but the effect....
How do women do it.

I know intellectually the the internal skeletal makeup is different, the placement of the female hips cause different muscle groups to develop in dissimilar ways , fat deposition is controlled by a different set of hormones.

But it is still wonderful.
Wonderful

  1. The Old Girl used to say to me, very loudly, when she caught me looking at another woman when in a bar, on a train, on the street etc. .."Well if you like her so much why don't you go over and ask her out?" She didn't understand that it was not necessarily lust that caused me to look but that it is just something that men do. Needless to day the embarrassment when said woman turned around (as well as everyone else in the bar, train, street etc..) was enough to make me avert my eyes for a while.
