I made a comment on looby's blog yesterday, where I expressed surprise that he went to a reading of Slovenian Poetry.  I did use some language which was mildly (for me) derogatory about how anyone could actually enjoy such an event.

Why Can't They Make Up Their (little) Minds

My Beloved planned to fly back to the UK in August and had graciously aquiesced to allow me to accompany her a wee bit later in September (our Spring Break Holiday), then we would fly back together.

Looking Forward to Retirement

Unfortunately, today, I go back to school.  The last two weeks have been mostly pleasant, consisting in the main of long periods of sleep with extra dozing, eating, drinking, reading and lying in the sun.

All is now well

Thank goodness for efficient suppliers.  I only ordered it last night and they (I ordered an extra USB hub at the same time) were both delivered today.  Free delivery as well.  You can't ask for much better than that.  AND it's got a 5 year replacement warranty.

My blog recently hit 300,000 views, and proud though I was of this achievement (mainly due I suspect to the numerous images of a rather pulchritudinous nature) I posted comments on as many other blogs as possible saying : "I've hit 300000 views you know."

The Mah Jong Massacre

Regular readers of this little post (soon to reach the exalted height of 300,000 views) will know that I really don't like swimming in public pools.
It's not just the chlorine and the fungal infections and the cold dirty tile floors, it's the solitude.
