Problems
Some of my friends have mentioned that they don't seem to be able to add comments to my posts. I didn't set anything to stop them, but blogger seems to be having problems, especially if you are using Internet Explorer. I would suggest changing to Firefox, which doesn't seem to give this problem.
I've also changed a couple of other settings which should now allow your comments to work.
Please feel free to try commenting as a test on his post.

ReplyDeleteI've had all sorts of problems in my life but never being able to add my pearls of wit and wisdom, or utter bollocks, one of the two, to your esteemed organ.
ReplyDeleteThe other day, on my work computer, I could not put a comment on your blog. That computer uses Internet Explorer. At home, with my mac, I don't have a problem.
ReplyDeleteThanks to you all. The problem seems to be associted with so called thrid party cookies in IE 8. I've changed the comments setting so a whole page appears, and this seems to work around the problem.
ReplyDeleteAnon: Glad.
Ruchard [of RBB]: you seem ok now. Sorry, you seem to be able to comment now. I cannot in all good conscience make any judgement on your intrinsic rightness. I'll leave that up to the nutters on The Catholic Life.
TC: Well done, that actually makes more sense than some of your other stuff.
looby: Putting bollocks and organ in the same sentence is, in MHO, rather unwise. (MHO means My Humble Opinion, TC, just to keep you in the picture)
Patience_Crabstick: Just goes to show, the ghost of Steve Jobs lives on.
